Beaver Culverts

Are beavers always causing damage at the waterways on your property? We now carry Soleno beaver barriers, which help prevent beaver dams. These barriers are made up of two polyethylene parts and four anchors that are installed 10′ from the upstream face of the culvert or upstream face of a dam. We carry 12″, 15″, and 18″ diameter barriers. Each barrier contains inlet holes that face down into the water for water circulation, keeping the beavers busy at work here, rather than at your culvert. These deterrents offer sturdy and efficient construction. They are lightweight, easy to transport, and can be easily installed by only two people. Installation can be arranged, call for installation information.

Asphalt Millings

Asphalt millings are created by taking old pieces of asphalt and crushing them down into smaller pieces, comparable in size to gravel. So essentially asphalt millings are ground-up recycled asphalt. Asphalt millings, hold up well under harsh conditions like heavy rain and snowfall. They just have the capacity to endure more wear and tear than gravel, which can shift or move depending on the conditions. Snow melts away more quickly on asphalt millings than gravel, and ice has a more difficult time forming on asphalt millings as well. Asphalt millings are perfect for Maine’s harsh winters. We sell our asphalt millings for $33/yard loaded in your vehicle. Delivery at an additional cost.
